In 2022, Amalia expanded her practice into cinematography, working as a camera operator for the short film Handbrake—an experience that sparked her passion for filmmaking. Later that year, she joined the production of Sima’s Song, directed by Roya Sadat, as the still photographer, marking her growing presence in film production.

Her path led her to the acclaimed Netflix series Maestro in Blue, directed by Christopher Papakaliatis, where she served as the still photographer, contributing to one of Greece’s most notable television projects.

In 2025, Amalia completed a cinematography program at the London Film Academy, further refining her craft and visual language.

She works with light and texture to shape stories that live within the moving image. Photography remains the foundation of her visual language and the way she experiences the world.
