Amalia Kovaiou, born in 1999 and raised in the vibrant city of Athens, discovered her passion for photography in 2012.

Over the years, she has collaborated with notable names such as Peugeot Greece, This is Athens, Travel.gr and Amvix. .

In June 2022, her artistic journey took a significant turn as she delved into cinematography, serving as a camera operator for the short film "Handbrake." This experience sparked a newfound fascination with the magic of filmmaking, expanding her artistic horizons beyond photography. At the end of 2022, she showcased her skills as a still photographer for "Sima's Song," working alongside director Roya Sadat.

Currently, she is the still photographer for the Netflix series "Maestro in Blue,” directed by Christopher Papakaliatis.

Fueling her creativity, Amalia loves to travel the world, capturing stories that inspire and evoke emotions. For her, photography is a life filled with emotions.
